Arc mills are passionately designed in our Melbourne studio and handcrafted by highly skilled artisans in rural South India.
Each mill is made from naturally seasoned, untreated Ivory Wood. Our bright and beautiful colours come from organic dyes such as turmeric, indigo, and the roots of the madder plant that are hand-mixed with a natural, non-toxic resin called lac. The final touch? Dried leaves of the humble screwpine plant are used to polish the mill, giving it our signature drop-dead-gorgeous, glossy, glass-like finish.

Arc mills can grind salt, pepper, dry herbs and spices with it's ceramic mechanism that is durable, rust-free, and designed for long-term use. You can easily adjust the grind size, from fine to coarse via a dial at the bottom of the mill.
